Shivajirao Kadam Institute of Technology and Management Indore hosted 'SKITECH INNOTHAN,' The 48-hour national hackathon attracted participants from across India, bringing together 50 teams to tackle pressing real-world challenges. The hackathon was inaugurated by Dr. Rajiv Sangal, the Founder Director of IIT BHU, who served as the chief guest. During the event, Honourable former Vice Chancellor Dr. Piyush Trivedi provided guidance to students. Participants benefited from mentorship provided by industry experts from UpGrade, Impetus, C9, TCS, and other prominent organizations.
Total prize pool of Rs.1.7 lakh was awarded. The awards were presented by Mr. Devansh Trivedi, Executive Director, and Dr. Sanjay Purkar, Director of SKITM. The first prize of Rs.50,000 was awarded to Team 1% from COER university Roorkee. The first runner-up position, with a prize of Rs.35,000, was claimed by Team StellarSync5.0, AITR & the second runner-up prizes of Rs.25,000 were given to Team TechTitans from SKITM and Team Mahadev from Vidyavardhini College, Virar Maharastra.
Additionally, a special category award by C9LAB, for a cyber security project, was given to IET DAVV and Sage University, with a prize of Rs.10,000 each team.
SKITECH INNOTHAN coordinated by faculty members Mr. Jitendra Dangra, Dr. Ratnalata Gupta and Dr. Sumit Jain with student coordinators Atharv Chaudhari, Hardik Bakhatriya, Harsh*ta Shinde, Devansh Gupta, and Gourav Soni playing key roles in ensuring its grand success.The event concluded with a report presented by Dr. Rashmi Yadav, HOD Computer Science Department.
