A fantastic knowledge-sharing session at NSDCS Lab, IIT Indore today!

We were honored to host Dr. Mahendra Sakare from Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar.
His deep expertise in analog/mixed-signal VLSI design truly inspired us.
Dr. Sakare walked us through advanced layout strategies, including guard ring design. We explored critical aspects of low-power and high-performance circuit design.The session covered both theoretical foundations and practical layout considerations. His insights on analog design automation were particularly valuable. It was an excellent opportunity for our team to engage in technical discussion. Students and researchers gained clarity on real-world VLSI challenges. His past contributions to CAD tools and circuit simulation added great depth. The interaction bridged the gap between research and practical design. We're grateful for such an enriching academic exchange.

Exciting Day at NSDCS Lab, IIT Indore!

On 12th December 2024, we had the immense privilege of hosting Mr. Preet Yadav, Head of India Innovation Ecosystem at NXP Semiconductors and Chair of IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS), Delhi Section.

Approximately 35 students and faculty members from across Madhya Pradesh attended this insightful session, which was also graced by the presence of the Chair of IEEE CASS Madhya Pradesh Section Dr-Santosh Kumar Vishvakarma.

Mr. Yadav’s visit to our NSDCS Lab, IIT INDORE was nothing short of inspiring. His expertise in semiconductor innovation, the significance of cutting-edge VLSI design, and the importance of industry-academia collaboration left a profound impact on all participants.

The session reinforced the critical role of aligning academic research with real-world challenges and highlighted pathways for fostering innovation in the field of VLSI and semiconductor technologies.

Congratulations to Dr. Narendra Dhakad

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Narendra Singh Dhakad, our PhD scholar from the NSDCS Lab, IIT Indore, has successfully defended his PhD thesis on SRAM-Based In-Memory Computing Architecture for AI Hardware!

Karyashala 2024: A Huge Success!
We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of Karyashala, a week-long workshop on VLSI Circuit Design and their Applications in Artificial Intelligence, held from 30th September to 6th October 2024, organized by Dr-Santosh Kumar Vishvakarma, Professor at IIT Indore.
The workshop focused on cutting-edge topics like RTL to GDS II and Schematic to GDS II, exclusively curated for PG and PhD students. It was an honor to have the workshop inaugurated by Mr. Navin Bishnoi, Country Head, Marvell India , who delivered valuable insights on "Accelerated Infrastructure for AI" with the theme: Global Market and Local Ex*****on.
