इंजीन सिलेंडर मे वास्तव मे उत्पन्न शक्ति जो पिस्टन पर प्राप्त होती हे, को सूचित शक्ति कहते हे, इसे यांत्रिक सूचक की सहायता से ज्ञात किया जाता हे, इससे इंजिन का वास्तविक p-v आरेख प्राप्त किया जाता हे।

INDICATED POWER -
The power actually generated in the engine cylinder, which is received on the piston, is called the indicated power, it is known with the help of a mechanical indicator, from this the actual p-v diagram of the engine is obtained.
