Are we capturing memories… or missing the moment?
In today’s time, preschools are often expected to send daily photos and videos.
And yes, we understand—it builds trust and keeps parents connected.
But somewhere… the pressure to show learning
is slowly taking over the actual learning.
Teachers start focusing on capturing the perfect picture…
Children start performing for the camera…
And the real essence of the activity gets lost.
Because the truth is—
real learning is not always perfect, not always neat,
and definitely not always camera-ready.
Sometimes it’s messy…
sometimes it’s slow…
and sometimes it’s just a beautiful moment that cannot be captured.
So maybe…
we need a small shift in mindset.
Photos are just a glimpse…
not the full reality of your child’s day.
Trust the process ❤️

When we think of preschool, most of us believe it’s all about ABCs and numbers…
But the truth is—preschool is much more than that.
It’s where children learn how to
✨ express themselves
✨ interact with others
✨ manage their emotions
✨ build confidence
✨ and become independent
Yes, academics are important…
but at this age, life skills matter even more.
Because a strong foundation is not about how early a child starts writing…
it’s about how well they are prepared for life ❤️
“‘My child is not speaking English… should I worry?’
This is one of the most common concerns parents have today.
Yes, English is important—but forcing it at an early age can actually reduce a child’s confidence and interest in learning.
Research shows that young children can absorb multiple languages naturally—when taught in a stress-free and connected environment.
At preschool level, our focus is not on perfect English…
but on building confidence, understanding, and love for communication ❤️
Many parents ask this question during preschool admissions:
“Why are children sent home after just 30–40 minutes in the beginning?”
The answer lies in child psychology and emotional development.
Starting preschool is a big transition for young children. They are stepping away from their comfort zone and separating from their parents for the first time. That’s why preschools follow a gradual settling process, where children initially stay for a short time and slowly increase their hours.
Many parents understand and support this approach. However, some feel that children should adjust immediately or compare their child with others in the class.
But the truth is — every child is different.
Even siblings in the same family behave differently in the same situation, so expecting all children to adjust in the same way is not realistic.
In early childhood education, forcing a child to stay while they are distressed can create fear and negative association with school.
That’s why the focus is always on helping the child feel safe, secure, and emotionally ready — because when a child feels safe, learning naturally follows.
Preschool celebrations are not just about decorations, costumes, and photos. They are meaningful learning opportunities for young children.
When teachers plan celebrations thoughtfully, children learn confidence, participation, social skills, and cultural awareness.
While planning any celebration in preschool, it is important to keep the focus on child safety, inclusivity, age-appropriate activities, and joyful participation rather than performance pressure.
In this reel, I am sharing important points every teacher and preschool should remember while planning celebrations so that these events truly support children’s development.
Because in early childhood education, celebrations should always be child-centered, simple, and meaningful.

When parents and teachers come together, learning becomes magical ✨
Our Holi celebration at preschool was not just about colors and fun. It was about building stronger bonds between parents and children. When kids see their mothers participating with joy, they feel confident, secure, and excited to learn.
From a mother–child painting competition to fun games and an energetic dance session, every moment was filled with laughter, creativity, and togetherness.
Because in early childhood education, parents are not just guests… they are partners in learning. ❤️🌈

Today many parents ask me an important question:
"Will my child learn about our culture and festivals in preschool?"
My answer is yes — and it is very important.
Early childhood is the age when values are planted.
Just like children learn to walk, speak, and express emotions at this stage, they also begin to understand traditions, celebrations, and respect for different cultures.
That is why in our preschool we celebrate festivals like Holi, Diwali, Eid, Christmas and many more — not just for fun, but to help children understand culture, joy, togetherness and respect.
Because the seed of values is best planted in early childhood.
And schools play a big role in that journey.
