Students of City Montessori School, Indira Nagar-II Campus enthusiastically observed World Environment Day through meaningful activities focused on environmental awareness and sustainability. Pre-Primary students cared for birds by placing water and grains in open spaces, while Classes I and II nurtured nature through seed planting and watering plants. Class III promoted eco-friendly habits through bag decoration, Class IV highlighted water conservation with creative posters and slogans, Class V crafted bird feeders, and Class VI showcased innovation by creating useful items from waste materials.

Through these hands-on activities, the young learners reaffirmed their commitment to protecting the environment and building a greener future for all.

✨ Fun Fiesta Summer Camp 2026 ✨ 🎶

The Vocal Music session for Classes I to VI began with the practice of musical notes, Alankaar, Aaroh, and Avroh in both Indian and Western styles to improve pitch accuracy and breath control. 🎵✨ Students also started learning the songs “This Little Guiding Light of Mine,” “He Sharde Maa,” and “Lakdi Ki Kaathi”, applying the concepts taught during the session. The children participated enthusiastically and filled the atmosphere with confidence, melody, and joy. 😊🎤

The skating session for Classes I to VI began with warm-up exercises and stretches, followed by rolling practice and 40 laps on skates. Students were introduced to basic racing techniques, focusing on correct posture, balance, and quick starts to build speed and confidence. The children participated enthusiastically and thoroughly enjoyed the energetic and skill-based session.

✨ Fun Fiesta Summer Camp 2026 ✨

The Kathak session for Classes I to VI began with a quick revision of Kathak Namaskar, Tatkar, and the bols 🎶 “Ta Thein Thein Tat, Aa Thein Thein Tat.” Students practised in both single and double speed to enhance their rhythm, balance, and coordination. They also revised Aamad with graceful hand movements and footwork. The session was energetic, interactive, and filled with enthusiasm as students enjoyed learning and performing Kathak with confidence.

Day 1 of Summer Camp was full of excitement, laughter, and “first attempts” that turned into fun memories! 😄🌞
Students tried new dance steps, explored musical instruments, enjoyed singing sessions, and carefully rolled into their first skating lessons — with a few funny wobbles here and there! 🛼🎶💃
Teachers guided the students, shared instructions, and asked about their experience. The happiest complaint of the day?

On the occasion of Mother’s Day, our Campus organised a vibrant Mom’s Cultural Couture Walk & Dance Celebration under the guidance of Headmistress Mohika Kohli. Mothers beautifully represented different states of India through graceful ramp walks and energetic dance performances celebrating the rich culture, traditions, and diversity of our country. ✨💃🇮🇳

The event was judged by Ms. Pallavi Bora and Ms. Shreya Chandra. The best performances were appreciated and awarded, while all the participants received certificates for their enthusiastic participation.The celebration was filled with joy, enthusiasm, colourful performances, and unforgettable moments, making Mother’s Day truly special for everyone present. ❤️
