Apart from visits to different tourist places in Trivandrum such as Ponmudi Hills, Veli Beach, Ponmudi Beach and Sri Padmanabha Swami Temple, the field trip party visited the laboratories and instrument facilities in CSIR NIIST Thiruvananthapuram on 18 June and IISERTVM on 19 June 2024
