Hemendra Kumar was a student of batch 2014-18 of CSE Department. His sister is suffering from severe kidney failure issue. Though she was recently married, Her marriage is also broken due to her illness. She has lost her eyesight of both eyes. His family has done what they can do but now they have exhausted all their savings and unable to pay the medical bills.
We request all fellow batchmates and teachers if you all kindly could support one of our family members at this hard time. Even a small help is appreciated. This is not the first time a student's life is at risk,this is not the first time authorities have gone to the level of ignorance where they've dared to play with the lives of students.
NIT Uttarakhand has long been fighting for their demand of a permanent campus.
Recently a student-Neelam Meena got badly injured on her way to class, when a high speeding vehicle on NH-58 hit her. Students have to cross the National Highway in order to go to their classes since the temporary establishment is divided into two campuses.
The students have gone into an indefinite strike to get the authorities to address their demands.
NIT MANIPUR supports NIT UTTARAKHAND in their fight for justice and proper address of their demands.
