Dear MPSC,

Kindly upload this attached important and reportable judgment on your official website for the information and benefit of the public and aspiring candidates.

It is concerning that judgments and cases decided in favour of the Commission appear to be uploaded, while judgments rendered against the Commission are not given the same treatment.

Such selective disclosure may create an impression of bias and could inadvertently mislead aspirants who rely on the Commission’s website for complete and accurate information.

Aspirants expect the Commission to maintain fairness, transparency and equitable conduct in all respects, including the publication of judicial decisions concerning its recruitment and examination processes.

It is therefore requested that all relevant judgments, irrespective of whether they are in favour of or against the Commission, be uploaded on the official website in the interest of transparency and public confidence.

The reason for the selective publication of judgments, if any, is best known to the Commission.

The Division Bench of the Hon’ble High Court of Manipur has dismissed the appeal preferred by the Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC) against the judgment and order passed by the learned Single Judge, Hon’ble Mr. Justice A. Guneshwar Sharma, directing the inspection of answer scripts of three candidates who appeared in the MCSCCEE 2016 (2022) Main Examination.
