Today, the students of Classes IX and X of our school attended the Live Polo Exposure Programme during the closing ceremony of the 2nd Dr. Ksh. Chourjit Memorial Inter-District Polo Tournament at Mapal Kangjeibung.

The programme provided students with valuable insights into the rich cultural heritage of polo, traditionally known as Sagol Kangjei. They were introduced to the historical significance of the sport and its deep-rooted connection to the region’s identity. The session also highlighted the importance of teamwork, mutual respect, discipline, and the unique bond of understanding between the player and the pony—elements that truly embody the spirit of the “Sport of Kings.”

The students thoroughly enjoyed the live experience, which greatly enhanced their understanding of the concepts covered in their textbook syllabus, making learning both meaningful and memorable.

Today, our school successfully organised a Fair (Mela) on the school campus as part of the observance of the 27th Foundation Day of the institution.

Students from all four houses enthusiastically set up stalls showcasing and selling items prepared by them. The fair provided a wonderful platform for students to exhibit their creativity and entrepreneurial skills through arts and crafts, food processing, and displays highlighting indigenous traditions and practices.

The initiative received an overwhelming response, with all items being sold out and widely appreciated by parents, guardians, and well-wishers. The event not only added vibrancy to the Foundation Day celebrations but also served as a meaningful learning experience for the students.

Today, our school organised an excursion for the members of the Winner House 2025–26, Mangang House, to Andro Santhei Natural Park and Lamenching Pinewood Garden.

The excursion provided a refreshing opportunity for students to connect with nature and unwind in a serene environment. There was also a special Treasure Hunt event organised by teachers at the park. It was truly heart-warming to witness their enthusiasm and joy throughout the journey.

All teachers and non-teaching staff accompanied the students, ensuring a safe, well-organised, and memorable experience.
