This school was established in 1954 at Imphal. The name of the school came after the name of the well known and revered Saint Guru Nanak.
Based on the teachings of Guru Nanak Devji Vidya Vichari ta Paropkari school was established in 1954 as Kindergarten by Sikh Community migrated from greater Punjab during the partition. It earned its repute and classes headed to tenth standard and got recognition from Board of secondary Education, Manipur in 1972.
