Sri Vidyadhiraja Vidya Sadan English Medium School is said to be the Pioneer Institution in the district which provided better education for the students from different levels of society. Shree Vidyadhiraja with around 28 institutions under its fold has been progressing into the future imparting cultural values to the younger generation through its wide network of schools and colleges. dhiraja School (SVS), Vellayambalam in Thiruvananthapuram was the first school started under the Shree Vidyadhiraja Sabha in 1975 with less than 10 students Now around 28 schools and around 6000 students study in various SVS schools. There are three branches situated separately- the Nursery wing, Lower Primary Wing , Upper Primary Wing ,High School and Higher secondary wins all having principals and heads. Every year the Sabha conducts a festival, popular as the Shree Vidyadhiraja Kalothsavam Festival, at Theerthapadamandapam,Trivandrum which also belongs to the Group. This festival is a venue for the talented students of all schools under SVS to give cultural performances in traditional dance, music and literary fields. Sri Ramachandran Nair I.A.S, the founder of SVS and the great network of institutions under it consisting of around 28 schools and 5 colleges,. Started in 1971 in the name of Shree Chattambi Swamikal, the great saint with an intention to impart religious values and keep our great culture intact, it was in 1975 that the Shree Vidyadhiraja Vidya Samajam was formed.
