The sixth annual Sufi festival, ‘Jashan-e-Khusrau’ held on Sunday in the city. The festival is organized annually in the city by various stakeholders including Maulana Sufi Shah Mohammed Muzaffar Ali Chisti Abul Ulai, the current Sajjada Nasheen (priest) and Mutawalli (custodian) of the Dargah of Shah Mohammed Qasim Shaik Ji Hali Abdul Ulai at Pathergatti.

This year, a Sufi rendition and Ghazal programme is being organized by the ‘Jashan-e-Khusrau’ committee at Taj Deccan Hotel. Noted ghazal singer 'Anita Singhvi' performed at the ‘Rang-e-Khusrau’, a musical concert.

The event is being partnered by the Telangana Arts and Cultural Committee.
