A big shot, Devendra Surana is the director of Surana Group of Companies. He is an IIM Bangalore passout and is also the FICCI Chairman of Telengana State. He was the Founder President of Young Entrepreneurs Oganization, Hyderabad Chapter and has over 10 years of experience in the field of ferrous and non - ferrous and telecommunication industry.

Adil Murshedd

C.S.B.I is proud to bring to you its legal expert among IGNITE’s panel of judges in its Business Plan Competition. Mr Murshedd specialises in a various number of professional fields, ranging from litigation and arbitration to real estate and corporate law.

Mr Murshedd has earned his LLB at the University of Calcutta and LL.M. in Corporate Laws, International Business Transaction and Arbitration form the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

Mr Murshedd has practised law as a counsel at the High Court of Calcutta for over a period of five years. His profession furthered by working at Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff & Co as a Senior Associate, after which his work at Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan as Principal Associate and upscaled to the position of a Joint Partner for a period of 3 years, consequentially lead to the actualisation of his goal to start his own law firm- Bamura Partners.

We are certain that an individual such as Adil Murshedd who possesses a plethora of industry knowledge will certainly have a lot of insights and guidance to offer to the students.

Siva Devireddy

C.S.B.I is glad to announce the founder and CEO of Gocoop.com, Siva Devireddy has heartily agreed to join us on the 9th of February, as one of the judges on the panel of the Business Plan of Competition.
And additionally as a speaker in the seminar after the final rounds.

GoCoop.com is India's first online Global marketplace that enables Handloom and Handicraft Co-operatives and artisans in connecting directly with Buyers. Marketplace brings together these producer organisations of weavers, artisans to collectively market their produce online, thereby significantly reducing cost of marketing, driving more efficiency and transparency in the Craft supply chain.

Over the next 5 years, GoCoop aims to empower one million weavers and artisans through the online marketplace.

Mr Devireddy has earned his Master's degree in Industrial Engeneering and Management Systems.

The sheer amount of knowledge and experience this individual brings forth to IGNITE is beyond mere gratitude this caption hopes to convey.

On a more relevant level, don't many of us in law school aspire to set up our legal practice or maybe even a law firm one day?

Regardless of the type of endeavour, they are all ultimately a form of business which require more than mere legal knowledge and require a certain quality of business intellect.

'IGNITE' affirms those needs while providing a practical experience to help hone your business accumen.

On the first day, the Workshop on Business Planning shall initiate the understandings of what is required in a business plan and executing the required steps, including how to pitch your idea to potential investors.

The Second Day shall mark the onset of the Business Plan Competition. Preliminary rounds shall be conducted and consequentially five teams shall qualify for the final round on the next day.
Whereupon, those five teams shall present their plan in front of a panel comprising of business intellects.

After the competition has come to an end, those eminent business experts shall address the audience while sharing their inspiring journeys as entrepreneurs. By doing so, they shall endeavour to ignite a sense of individualism that undoubtedly coexists with almost every personal pursuit there is and not just confined to an entrepreneur.

create in the world of virtual payments in the years to come.

He was from a very humble background. He did not know how to read and write English for he completed his school education in Hindi. He also lost it in college and strived hard to exist with his poor grades. He later found Paytm. Today Vijay Shekhar Sharma is a billionaire. He was ranked as India’s youngest billionaire in 2017 by Forbes.

Howard Schultz is an American businessman. He was the CEO of Starbucks from 1986-2000 and again from 2008-2017. At the age of 12, Schultz got his first job. First he was selling newspapers and then working in a local cafe. After graduation he worked as a salesman for xerox corporation. Later he came across Starbucks and was passionate about the business. He then struggled hard to raise money to buy the stores when he came to know that the actual owners were selling it to The Roasting Factory. Now Starbucks has almost 30,000 stores across the globe and employs over 2,30,000 workers.

The Centre for Specialisation in Business and Innovation (C.S.B.I) is proud to announce is glad to have had a productive interaction with the Sports Authority of Telangana State (SATS). The student members along with the research associates met with the MD and VC, Sri. A Dinakar Babu, IAS, who was receptive and supportive towards the idea of cooperating with the centre for it's research initiative- Envision: A Way of Sports for Telangana. Through this initiative, the centre aims to create a concrete policy approach to improve the sporting culture of the state of Telangana. The centre is looking forward to more such interactions, meetings and collaborations in the future for the research initiative.
