Legendary singer, Lata Mangeshkar ji is lovingly referred to as the 'Nightingale of India'. She stepped into singing at the age of 13 and recorded her first song in 1942. In her career spanning seven decades, she has to her credit over 30,000 songs in different languages. She passed away today at the age of 92 due to covid. May her soul rest in peace. 🙏

Our country's first Chief of Defense Staff, General Bipin Rawat, his wife Madhulika Rawat and 10 more defense personnel died in an IAF helicopter crash in hilly terrain and foggy conditions in Coonoor in Tamil Nadu' s Nilgiris district in the afternoon, yesterday. General Bipin Rawat had served our nation for over 4 decades. His untimely demise has left a big void in Indian defense system. He will be remembered for a long time to come. May his soul rest in peace. Salute.
