PHONICS Course for Children - 4-6 yrs

Children are taught alphabetically and to pronounce whole words with the help of a picture (e.g a for apple). However, due to this, children are not able recognize words that are not taught.

The schools lay more emphasis on 'writing' skills rather than 'reading skills' in the formative years of a child. Because of this Indians are not good communicators in general.
Beacuse of improper teaching, the child may not understand and grasp the basics well. If this is neglected, then the child grows to become uncomfortable in the later years impacting academic and overall confidence levels in the professional world.

Phonics is a method of teaching children to 'read' with the help of sounds (phonetics). Phonics enables the child to develop reading habit early-on providing an effective tool for knowledge gathering and assimilation. It enables proper English pronunciations and spellings resulting in strong communication capabilities. Reading if developed between the ages of 4-6 years, results into a skill enabling the child to enjoy reading.

Reading acquired during this stage also initiates building of the child's sub-conscious mind and thus ability to grasp and accumulate knowledge much faster.

Children can read words even if they have not seen them before. Further using sound they are able to speak the right way, enabling them to gain strong communication and spelling skills.
