We have received a response from the school mgmt and here's an insight of it.

Quite significantly there has been no response to 41% of our demands and meagre 22% of them addressed.

There has been no disciplinary action on the irresponsible and negligent staff. Does it indicate the irresponsibility or arrogance? Shame!

With some initial hiccups wherein none from management were present to meet us, although we informed them in 2 days advance, we had the meeting with Director Academics. He came in to school for some other work and had kindly accommodated us.

He has assured us that the Grievance cell has been established and would look at our charter of demands and respond in next 48 hours.

Apart from this they would also communicate more and involve parents and engagement by forming a Parents Committee who would periodically audit the arrangements at the school.

We have asked them to organize an ALL PARENTS meet this weekend with school authorities.

Attached are some quick high level meeting minutes and court order copy to reopen the Pre-primary section of the school.

It is one month today since the horrific incident happened in the school. We have been waiting since then for the school management to take actions. We submitted a charter of demands about 3 weeks ago. Now is the time to ask the status one final time before we take next course of action. "All the parents are requested to join us on Wednesday 17th October at 10 AM at the school to meet the school management". Please join us in large numbers.

****** Breaking News ******

This is very unfortunate!! Azaan GEMS school which used to serve Nursery, PP1, PP2 classes t is ordered to be shut down by DEO Hyderabad. The DEO has called for a meeting with parents tomorrow to plan and accommodate the students in nearby schools selected by Parents.
