Ganesh Chaturthi is a festival celebrated with much fervour across India. To let the little ones stay rooted in Indian culture, the festival was celebrated in Surya the Global school with great enthusiasm during the class connect time. The children were dressed in ethnic wear and displayed handmade Ganesha idols. In the end, tiny tots tapped their feet at the beats of Ganesha music.

Special Assembly
Staying apart is the best way of staying United. Reinforcing the new rule, students of SURYA THE GLOBAL SCHOOL, presented an online special assembly on behalf of "Ganesh Chaturthi". The assembly commenced with a melodious invocation, that is with Ganesh Vandana then they started with the story of Lord Ganesha. How a single festival could unite so many diverse peoples of India was made amply clear. Appreciate the students who participated with a lot of enthusiasm and passion.

Lord Ganesha is one who transforms faith into reality, his kindness galore into blessings along with a gesture towards matru-pitru Devo bhava! The large elephant head of Lord Ganesha symbolizes wisdom, understanding, and a discriminating intellect that one must possess to attain perfection in life. ... The Trishul (weapon of Shiva, similar to Trident) over forehead symbolizes time (past, present, and future) and Lord Ganesha's mastery over it.
An activity done by Grade 5 students, MAKING and DECORATING GANESH MANDAPAM in lieu of approaching GANESH CHATURTHI.
