On February 7-8, 2025, at HITAM, the Design Thinking event showcased innovative student projects under the EPICS initiative. On February 7, CSE-DS students presented 45 projects, followed by 46 projects from CSM students on February 8. The event emphasized hands-on problem-solving through the Design Thinking framework, where students identified challenges, ideated solutions, and developed prototypes. It highlighted creativity, technical expertise, and social impact through engineering design. This platform empowered students to innovate and address real-world problems effectively.

HITAM is honored to be the venue for the 7th Harit Prem Bharat Mahotsav 2025, organized by IGBC on 23rd January 2025, under the theme "Down to Earth."As part of this initiative, the Water Conservation Program aimed to educate students on sustainable water management. Led by Mr. Col CS. Pawan, Dean Careers & Admissions, HITAM, the program highlighted practical water-saving techniques and innovative conservation strategies. Through interactive sessions, it fostered awareness, encouraged responsible water usage, and inspired collective action. By instilling a culture of sustainability, this initiative empowered individuals to make a lasting impact. Together, we strive for a water-secure future, preserving this vital resource for generations to come.

On January 24, 2025, engineering student teams from colleges across Hyderabad – HITAM, CBIT, MLRIT, and MJECT – participated in an inspiring outreach initiative. These teams visited selected schools equipped with EWB e-Learning centers to foster lifelong learning among school students. They showcased the possibilities of online education and engaged the students through interactive sessions and quizzes.

The event culminated in a grand finale at HITAM, where the teams shared their experiences, insights, and recommendations gained from their school visits. The finale included dynamic presentations from the teams, with exciting prizes awarded for the best performances.

This initiative successfully promoted collaboration between engineering colleges and schools, empowering young students to explore the world of e-learning and interactive education.
