CSIR-NGRI School celebrated Teacher's Day with great enthusiasm on the school premises in the presence of Principal Dr. Meena Dixit. The Director, Dr. Prakash Kumar of CSIR NGRI, along with the school committee members, honored the teachers for their dedication and hard work. In his address, Dr. Prakash Kumar expressed heartfelt gratitude, stating, "Our teachers are the foundation of this Institute, shaping young minds and nurturing the future. Your commitment, patience, and passion for education are deeply valued. Today, we celebrate your immense contributions and your positive influence on each student." Committee Chairperson, Dr. Labani Ray, emphasized the crucial role of teachers in the school's success and extended a vote of thanks to the committee members.

Solid Firm Foundation, the quest for the unknown, treading the unbeaten path, and going from ordinary to extraordinary is the story of NGRI School, which was established in September 1984. The school was started in the shed at NGRI colony Quarters with 72 students of LKG and UKG.
Its forty-year journey is going strong and stronger after attaining the fruitful, beautiful, harmonious, and all-around development of mind, body, and spirit of students entering its glorious 41st Forty-first year in 2025.
The firm foundation was laid by Founder Principal Mrs Kusum Dimri along with teachers Mrs Lalitha Sreedharan and Mrs Waheeda Osman .
