Good always triumphs - but only when we choose courage over comfort.
On this auspicious day of Dussehra, we are reminded of Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana. This symbolizes the eternal triumph of truth over falsehood, and dharma over adharma.
In today’s world, Ravana may not stand before us with ten heads, but he exists in the form of fear, doubt, greed, and injustice. And true victory lies in conquering these inner demons.
At the Indian Vedic School, we draw inspiration from these timeless lessons, guiding our youth to build clarity, character, and compassion. Because every generation needs its warriors of truth.
Wishing you and your family a blessed Dussehra!

Did you know the Vedas influenced our modern concept of AM and PM?
We’ve all grown up learning AM = Ante Meridiem and PM = Post Meridiem.
But have you ever wondered that before (pre) and after (post) what?
Western education taught us this as Latin abbreviations. But the deeper truth lies in our own Vedic tradition.
AM = आरोहनम् मार्तण्डस्य (Aarohanam Martandasya)
—The rising of the Sun (before noon)
PM = पतनम् मार्तण्डस्य (Patanam Martandasya)
—The setting of the Sun (after noon)
In Sanskrit, मार्तण्ड means Surya (the Sun), which is recognized as the eternal clock of time itself.
So what we call AM and PM today was already explained thousands of years ago in the Vedas.
The same Vedic wisdom also calculated the speed of light centuries before modern science, through Mahārshi Sāyaṇa’s commentary on the Rigveda.
This explains that knowledge is not just Western or Eastern. It is eternal! And often, what we think is “modern” is simply a rediscovery of what our ancestors already knew.
Even time itself speaks Sanskrit.

Did you know the foundation of Bharat’s timeless wisdom rests on just four texts?
Yes - they rely on four texts, including the Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda, and Atharvaveda.
Together, these texts are known as the Vedas. They are not just scriptures, but the world’s oldest knowledge systems. They cover everything from philosophy, astronomy, and mathematics to medicine, governance, and art.
But how are they still alive!
A story often told is that ancient rishis did not write this knowledge but heard it. It is called ‘shruti,’ meaning “that which is heard.” Today, passed down through generations by memory and sound, the Vedas have become a living tradition.
In simple terms, thousands of verses were memorized, recited, and preserved flawlessly for centuries without a single book!
At the Indian Vedic School, we bring this eternal wisdom into modern classrooms, where knowledge is not only studied but lived.
Which of the four Vedas intrigues you the most?

Have you ever wondered why chanting mantras creates such a profound impact?
I believe mantras are not just words; they are vibrations of life itself. The ancient sage “Rishi Muni” discovered that every sound carries a frequency that resonates with the body, mind, and environment. When chanted with focus, mantras stimulate the brain, regulate breath, and bring inner harmony.
Now, modern science validates those powerful mantras as it heals, reduces stress, and enhances concentration. This is why mantras remain timeless, bridging ancient wisdom with today’s mental and emotional needs.
In our classrooms of Indian Vedic School, mantras are tools for clarity, calm, and connection.
Do you think sound can truly shape consciousness?

Nine days. Nine forms. Nine lessons for life.
- Celebrating inner strength, wisdom, and harmony.
As today is the arrival of our Mata Rani, the nine nights of Navratri symbolize the triumph of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and discipline over chaos. Each form of Maa Durga teaches us values of life that align deeply with the philosophy of the Indian Vedic School. It involves courage, clarity, compassion, and devotion.
Just as Navratri invokes balance between body, mind, and soul, our curriculum nurtures the same holistic growth through the Nine Spheres of Development Approach. Ensuring education must go beyond survival, it must awaken the spirit and prepare us for life.
May this Navratri inspire us to seek wisdom, embrace values, and nurture life itself.

What if education were not just about marks, but about building lives?
At the Indian Vedic School (IVS), we asked ourselves this critical question. And the answer shaped our unique “Nine Spheres of Development Approach.” It is a holistic path that nurtures the Body, Mind, and Soul (BMS).
Our curriculum goes beyond classrooms and textbooks. It embraces nine spheres: Character, Creative, Collaborative, Conceptual, Connect, Comprehensive, Critical Thinking, Communication, and Cultural.
Each sphere ensures that a child doesn’t just become employable but evolves into a compassionate, confident, and culturally rooted leader.
In a world racing ahead, IVS prepares youth to go global while staying deeply connected to their roots.
Do you think today’s education system should not only be about “job-ready,” but also about “life-ready”?

What if solving complex problems could feel effortless?
That’s the power of Vedic Math - a gift from our ancient wisdom.
Vedic math is rooted in 16 simple sutras. Through that, it turns long calculations into quick mental steps. But beyond speed, it builds something far more valuable. Those are clarity, logic, and confidence.
In today’s competitive world, students often fear math as a subject of stress. Vedic Math transforms it into a subject of joy. It trains the brain to think differently, solve creatively, and approach problems with calm precision.
At the Indian Vedic School, we bring this timeless knowledge back. It’s not an alternative to modern math, but it is a powerful tool to make students sharper, faster, and more confident learners.
Because learning math should feel empowering, not overwhelming.

Is today’s education system shaping clarity, or just creating pressure?
Most students today face relentless exam stress, competition, and the fear of failure. As a result, instead of nurturing curiosity, education often burdens them with anxiety. But true learning should liberate, not suffocate.
This all started in the modern period, when colonial rule came. At this period, we built English-medium schools, missionary institutions, and a new curriculum.
Before that, in the Vedic tradition, discipline was never about pressure. It was about balance. Through meditation, yoga, values, and mindful study, students developed focus, clarity, and self-mastery. This inner strength allowed them to face challenges with calmness instead of fear.
At the Indian Vedic School, we revive this essence. Our approach transforms pressure into purposeful discipline, preparing not just achievers of grades but leaders with wisdom and inner balance.
Because education must shape humans, not just test-takers.
