Telangana Government Overseas Scholarship Notification for the academic year 2026 has been released.
Minority students pursuing PG/PhD in 10 countries including USA, UK will get Rs.20 lakhs + ticket charge.
Those who got admission between 01.01.2026 to 30.06.2026 should apply at telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in from 01.06.2026 to 30.06.2026 at 5 pm.
Original academic records and parental guidance are mandatory.

Good News ~ Extension of Summer Vacation for all UG and PG Colleges/Programmes under the jurisdiction of Osmania University.
I am by direction, to inform that the Summer Vacation, which was originally scheduled up to 31.05.2026, has been extended up to 06.06.2026 in view of the prevailing severe summer conditions and high temperatures.
Therefore, all the Principals of Campus, Constituent and Affiliated Colleges offering Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programmes under the jurisdiction of Osmania University are requested to take note of the above and make necessary arrangements accordingly.
The colleges shall resume academic activities from 08.06.2026 (Monday).
This circular shall be brought to the notice of all concerned.

Big relief for lakhs of students from BC, SC, ST, Minority and EBC communities in Telangana! Telangana government has given one more opportunity to apply for Fee Reimbursement and Scholarships for the 2025-26 academic year through the E-Pass website.
The last date has now been extended till May 31, 2026.
This extension applies to both fresh applications and renewal candidates.
Already more than 10.20 lakh students have applied online, but nearly 70,000 students could not complete the process due to various reasons.
With this extension, no deserving student should miss higher education support.
The government’s decision will help thousands of poor and middle-class families continue their children’s higher and professional education courses without financial burden.

On behalf of the Telangana State, Osmania University will conduct the TG-SET, 2026 examination for Eligibility as Assistant Professor / Lecturer in the month of October, 2026.
The Test will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
The test will consist of two papers.
Duration 3 Hours
The commencement of online application form will be made available soon to the candidates.
