Attending the 7th edition of the CII–IWN Southern Region “Say Yes” Annual Leadership Conclave in Kochi wasn’t just another conference. It was a powerful reminder of what leadership looks like when courage meets clarity.

You rest, but the emotional weight doesn't lift. Sleep can't fix what's been stored inside. This is burnout, not laziness.
2. You feel relieved when plans cancel
Not because you don't care, but one less thing = one less burden. Your nervous system is asking for mental health relief.
3. Everything irritates you faster
Noise, texts, interruptions feel unbearable. Your emotional capacity is maxed out. You have zero bandwidth left.
4. You distract yourself constantly
Scrolling, staying busy, anything to avoid the quiet and what's underneath. You're running from your feelings instead of processing them.
5. You tell yourself "This is just how it is"
That thought means you've stopped expecting emotional relief. You're surviving, not thriving. That's emotional suppression at work.

You're overwhelmed. And that's something you can actually shift.
