Inspiring Alumni Spotlight: From Vignan to Global VP!

Mahesh Murarka (1993-95 Batch), Vignan Co-Operative Junior College, Vadlamudi, Guntur, aced his Intermediate with distinction, cracked IIT-JEE on his first try, earned B.Tech from IIT Kharagpur, and an MBA from Tuck School of Business. Today, he’s Vice President at GE in North Carolina, USA - a true story of dedication and excellence!

After 30 years, he paid a visit to his alma mater at Vignan Nizampet Campus, to meet his lecturer Mr Ashok Nanda and Mrs. Rani Rudrama Devi (Vice-Chairperson, Vignan Group) and addressed teachers from all 7 campuses. His key advice: “Master fundamentals for lifelong success—focus on meaningful learning, not just exam scores!”

Earth Day Celebration in Pre-Primary Wing 🌱
The tiny tots of the Pre-Primary wing celebrated Earth Day with great enthusiasm. The children went on a nature walk and observed their surroundings, learning about the importance and uses of plants and trees.

Teachers explained, in a simple and engaging way, how to save and protect the Earth. The little ones understood key ideas and actively participated in a rally, holding placards with slogans like “Save Earth,” “Save Water,” and “Save Plants and Trees.”

They also took part in colouring and handprint activities, expressing their promise to protect the Earth with their little hands. The celebration concluded with a plant-watering activity, where children pledged to care for plants by watering them regularly. 🌿💧

A Splash of Fun: Summer Party Highlights

The Summer Party was joyfully celebrated in the Pre-Primary wing of Vignan's Bo Tree School. The children arrived dressed in colourful summer outfits, wearing goggles, caps, and hats, adding vibrancy to the celebration.

During the snack break, children enjoyed sharing summer fruits and juices with their friends, making it a delightful and refreshing experience. Teachers guided the children on important precautions to be taken during the summer season. They also spoke about summer family gatherings and introduced special seasonal fruits like mangoes, along with juices and milkshakes that can be made from them.
The children had great fun participating in water splash activities and dancing to lively summer party songs. The celebration concluded with a beautiful photoshoot, capturing joyful memories of the day.

Safety First! Proud Moment at Vignan’s Bo Tree School 🚨
Today, CI, SI, and Traffic Police team visited us and asked our Grades 8 & 9 students to write letters to parents urging helmet purchases for family safety. ⏱️ Just 15 minutes – and our kids nailed it!

All participated brilliantly, with prizes for the best letters. 🏆

On 31st March 2026, a successful firing practice session was conducted at Loyola Academy by the 4 Telangana Battalion NCC.

60 cadets from our school actively participated as part of their preparation for the Inter Directorate Shooting Sports Competition.

The session included theory classes, dry practice, and live firing, with a strong focus on safety, discipline, and weapon handling.
