At 39, Lavakumar Kondipati is building a startup in an industry most people ignore.
After spending nearly two decades in the IT industry, his entrepreneurial journey didn’t begin with funding rounds or viral ideas. It began with small experiments, hard lessons, financial losses, and the patience to start again.
From running an ice cream business and recovering from major setbacks to slowly building NatBolt, his journey has been shaped by one belief:
“If everybody is going in one direction, I look at what people are leaving behind.”
That thinking eventually led him to the fragmented world of two-wheeler repair and maintenance, where NatBolt is now building solutions for garages and mechanics through technology and operational systems.
A conventional man, perhaps.
On an unconventional path.

Through the Ideabaaz scouting round hosted at Bower School of Entrepreneurship, founders from our SEED (K12), BUILD (UG) and LEAD (Executive) cohorts had the opportunity to pitch their ventures before the Ideabaaz leadership team, the startup platform featured on Zee TV and ZEE5.
For many founders, this was their first exposure to a high-stakes startup environment involving investor interactions, feedback sessions and national-level visibility.
What stood out was not just the quality of ideas, but the confidence, clarity and perspective that founders gained through the experience.

At 20, Sugavignesh Vignesh has already walked away from becoming a doctor and a pilot before finding the path that truly felt his own.
That journey eventually brought him to Bower, where conversations, collaborations, and endless brainstorming sessions slowly turned into something bigger — Trovo.
Today, while still pursuing his undergraduate degree, he is building a footwear venture exploring the barefoot sneaker segment and was recently featured in the March 2026 edition of Asia Inc. 500.
From failed plans to building a startup, Sugavignesh describes his first year at Bower in one word: “Cinematic.”

Bower School of Entrepreneurship recently hosted the scouting round for Ideabaaz, the startup platform featured on Zee TV and Zee5.
Founders from our SEED (K12), BUILD (UG) and LEAD (Executive) cohorts pitched their startups in front of investors and the Ideabaaz leadership team. For many of them, this was their first high-stakes pitch room.
The energy in the room was real. So were the ideas, feedback, pressure and ambition.
At Bower, entrepreneurship is not limited to classrooms. Students build, pitch, fail, learn and grow inside the ecosystem from day one.
These glimpses are a small reminder of what happens when the right opportunities meet the right founders.

From UPSC aspirant to startup founder, Gadikota Siva Shankar Reddy’s journey is all about resilience, reinvention, and taking bold steps into the unknown.
After spending years preparing for UPSC, he decided to build something of his own. What began with simple observations of shared living spaces in Delhi eventually turned into the idea behind Jollyjunction Bookings Pvt. Ltd., a platform focused on private theatres and travel experiences.
Coming from a non-business background, the journey was filled with uncertainty and self-doubt. But with continuous learning, experimentation, and the support of the LEAD ecosystem, Siva Shankar is now working towards scaling Jollyjunction across different cities.
His story reminds us that sometimes life pushes us in a different direction for a reason.
