Ap Aviation Academy APAA has its existence since the year 1932, started by the Ex-ruler, Nizam of Hyderabad under the Management of the erstwhile Government of Hyderabad taking its name as STATE AERO CLUB

WHY AP AVIATION ACADEMY?

AP Aviation Academy is aided by AP Govt. and controlled by an Autonomous body of AP State Government.

It is a non profitable organisation with the sole aim of providing quality education and training to the students.

As it is not a commercial organisation the fee structure for pilot training and Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course is very much less than similar organisations else where in the country.

It is well established with Light aeroplanes with piston engines and Heavy aeroplane with Jet engines. AME college has been approved by DGCA for imparting abinitio training in Avionics and Mechanical stream including Heavy aeroplane and Jet Engines.

The head of the organisation is Capt S.N. Reddy, who is the Honorary Secretary and CEO. The Academy works under his direct Administrative and Functional control.

Capt S.N.Reddy has vast and multifarious experience as a flier and administrator who has more than 25,000 hrs of flying. He was DGCA approved Examiner on AVRO, Boeing-737 Aircrafts. He also worked as Director of Flight Safety, Director of Operations and Regional Director (South) Indian Airlines.

Under the able administration of Capt S.N.Reddy the Academy achieved highest record in flying during the years 2007, 2008 and 2009 consecutively and has been given best Aviation Academy award by the Aero Club of India, New Delhi, and considered as best Aviation Academy and number 1 in the country.

The AME college of AP Aviation Academy has achieved excellent results upto 95% in the Licence Examinations conducted by DGCA, New Delhi.

The Academy is having Light Aeroplanes with Piston Engines and Heavy Aeroplanes with Jet Engines. As such ON JOB TRAINING in Mechanical and Avionics streams is provided to students of other AME colleges at very nominal cost, a facility which is not available at many other AME schools.
