Practical exams for general & vocational courses: 3 Feb 2025 to 22 Feb 2025.

Theory exams:

1st Year: 5 March 2025 to 24 March 2025.

2nd Year: 6 March 2025 to 25 March 2025.

Exam timings: Theory exams are from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.

Practical sessions: Two shifts--morning (9 AM–12 Noon) and afternoon (2 PM–5 PM) for practicals.

Intermediate Exams : నేషనల్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ పాలసీ 2020 (ఎన్ఈపీ) అమలుకు తెలంగా రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం కసరత్తు ప్రారంభించింది. ఈ పాలసీలోని కొన్ని అంశాలనైనా అమలు చేయాలని భావిస్తోంది. ఈ క్రమంలో.. వచ్చే ఏడాది (2025 విద్యా సంవత్సరం) నుంచి ఇంటర్ విద్యావిధానం తీసివేయాలని దాదాపు నిర్ణయించినట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. ప్రస్తుతం రాష్ట్రంలో స్కూల్, ఇంటర్మీడియెట్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ వేర్వేరుగా కొనసాగుతున్నాయి. ఈ కొత్త విధానం అమల్లోకి వస్తే ‘బోర్డ్ఆఫ్ ఇంటర్మీడియెట్’ స్థానంలో.. స్కూల్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ పరిధిలోకి వస్తుంది.
ఈ కొత్త విద్యా విధానంతో పర్యవేక్షణ సులభం కావడంతోపాటు సర్కారుపై ఆర్థిక భారం తగ్గుతున్నట్లు సమాచారం. మరోవైపు దోపిడీలకు కేంద్రంగా మారిన కార్పొరేట్ ఇంటర్ కాలేజీలకు చెక్ పడే అవకాశముంది. ఈ క్రమంలోనే ఎన్ఈపీ–2020 అమలు వల్ల కలిగే ప్రయోజనాలపై సమగ్ర నివేదిక ఇవ్వాలని తాజాగా విద్యాశాఖ అధికారులను ఎడ్యుకేషన్ కేబినెబ్ సబ్ కమిటీ ఆదేశించినట్లు తెలుస్తోంది.
ఇటీవల జరిగిన ఎడ్యుకేషన్ కేబినెట్ సబ్ కమిటీలోనూ ఎన్ఈపీ అమలుపై చర్చ జరిగింది. ఈ సందర్భంగా.. ఎన్ఈపీ అమలులో మెరిట్స్, డీ మెరిట్స్‌పై నివేదిక ఇవ్వాలని విద్యాశాఖ సెక్రెటరీని కేబినెట్ సబ్ కమిటీ ఆదేశించినట్లు ప్రాథమిక సమాచారం. దీనిపై టీచర్లు, లెక్చరర్లు, ప్రొఫెసర్లు, విద్యావేత్తలు, ఎన్జీవోలు, మేనేజ్మెంట్లు.. ఇలా అందరితో సమావేశాలు నిర్వహించి అభిప్రాయాలు సేకరించాలని సూచించినట్లు వార్తలు వస్తున్నాయి.
ఇంటర్మీడియట్‌ తీసివేసే దిశగానే..?
ప్రస్తుతం రాష్ట్రంలో 5+2+3+2 (5 వరకు ప్రైమరీ, 7 వరకు అప్పర్ ప్రైమరీ, 10 వరకు హైస్కూల్, ఆ తర్వాత ఇంటర్) విద్యావిధానం అమల్లో ఉంది. దీన్ని 5+3+3+4 విధానం (5 వరకు ప్రీ ప్రైమరీ, 8 వరకు అప్పర్ ప్రైమరీ, 9 నుంచి సెకండరీ ఎడ్యుకేషన్)లో అమలు చేయాలని ఎన్‌ఈపీ 2020, కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం సూచిస్తోంది. తొలి ఐదేళ్లలో అంగన్ వాడీ, ప్రీ స్కూల్ మూడేట్లు, ఒకటి, రెండు తరగతులు ఉంటాయి. తర్వాత మూడేండ్లు 3,4,5 క్లాసులు, ఆ తర్వాతి మూడేళ్లు 6,7,8 క్లాసులు ఉంటాయి. చివరి నాలుగేళ్లలో సెకండరీ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ కింద 9,10,11,12 తరగతులు ఉంటాయి. ఈ విద్యా విధానంలో ఇంటర్ విద్యను సెకండరీ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ అని పిలుస్తారు.
మరోపక్క ప్రస్తుతం స్కూల్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ పరిధిలో 600 వరకు జూనియర్ కాలేజీలు (కేజీబీవీ, మోడల్ స్కూల్) నడుస్తుండగా.. ఇంటర్ కమిషనరేట్ పరిధిలో 420 మాత్రమే ప్రభుత్వ కాలేజీలు ఉన్నాయి. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో స్కూల్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ లో ఇంటర్ విద్యను విలీనం చేయాలని అధికారులు సూచిస్తున్నారు. దీనివల్ల పర్యవేక్షణ సులభంకావడంతోపాటు సర్కారుపై ఆర్థిక భారం తగ్గుతుందని, కార్పొరేట్ఇంటర్ కాలేజీలకు చెక్పడే అవకాశం ఉంది.
