For the first time in the history, as many as 84 poor students from the SC/ST Residential Schools of Telangana State who completed Intermediate are going to become doctors! In the recently announced NEET-2017 All India results, these pupils have bagged good ranks and are to be enrolled into MBBS and BDS courses. 55 SC students, 9 ST students will study MBBS while 15 SC and 5 ST students will get admission into BDS course. This is a record in the history of the residential schools in one year so many students got into the MBBS and BDS courses. Under KG to PG education system in the state, residential schools are being launched in a big way. For those aspiring to become doctors a special training programme called Operation Blue Crystal was launched in June, 2015 and special training is given to the students. Till date, 140 students from this programme got admission into medical course. Through this training programme so many got ranks in the NEET-2017. Not only in NEET, the Telangana students are getting admission into several prestigious institutions in the country. 12 students from the residential schools have got admission in Delhi University, 6 into Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS). Telangana State Social Welfare Schools Society secretary Dr. RS. Praveen Kumar has expressed happiness over residential schools students getting into premier institutions in the country.

Hon'ble Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekhar Rao has expressed his happiness over the performance of the Residential Schools students and said he is proud of them who are going to study medicine. Congratulating the students, he said the government is spending huge funds and starting hundreds of residential schools in a big way only offer corporate level quality education to the poor students. The results of this year are inspiring to start many more such institutions. The CM has congratulated Dr. Praveen Kumar for training the students and help them to grow in their career.

తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలోని ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ రెసిడెన్షియల్ స్కూళ్లలో ఇంటర్మీడియట్ విద్యనభ్యసించిన 84 మంది నిరుపేద విద్యార్థులు డాక్టర్లు కాబోతున్నారు. ఇటీవల ప్రకటించిన నీట్ -2017 ఫలితాల్లో వీరు మంచి ర్యాంకులు సాధించి ఎంబిబిఎస్, బిడిఎస్ కోర్సులు చదవనున్నారు. 55 మంది ఎస్సీ విద్యార్థులు, 9 మంది ఎస్టీ విద్యార్థులు ఎంబిబిఎస్ లో సీట్లు దక్కించుకోనున్నారు. 15 మంది ఎస్సీ, 5గురు ఎస్టీ విద్యార్థులు బిడిఎస్ లో సీట్లు సంపాదించనున్నారు. గురుకుల విద్యాలయాల చరిత్రలో ఒకే ఏడు ఇంత మంది డాక్టర్లయిన సందర్భంలో చరిత్రలో లేదు. కెజి టు పిజి విద్యా విధానంలో భాగంగా రాష్ట్రంలో పెద్ద ఎత్తున రెసిడెన్షియల్ స్కూల్స్ స్థాపిస్తున్నారు. మంచి ప్రతిభ కనబరిచి, డాక్టర్లు కావాలనుకునే వారికి ప్రత్యేక శిక్షణ ఇవ్వడం కోసం 2015 జూన్ నుంచి ఆపరేషన్ బ్లూ క్రిస్టల్ ప్రోగ్రామ్ మొదలు పెట్టారు. దీని ద్వారా ప్రత్యేక శిక్షణ ఇస్తున్నారు. ఈ ప్రత్యేక శిక్షణ ప్రారంభమయిన నాటి నుంచి ఇప్పటి దాకా 140 మంది విద్యార్థులు డాక్టర్ కోర్సుకు ఎంపికయ్యారు. ఈ శిక్షణ ఫలితంగానే ఇంత మంది విద్యార్థులు నీట్ ర్యాంకులు సాధించగలిగారు. కేవలం నీట్ ర్యాంకులే కాకుండా, దేశంలోని ప్రతిష్టాత్మక విద్యా సంస్థల్లో కూడా తెలంగాణ గురుకుల విద్యా సంస్థల విద్యార్థులు ప్రవేశాలు పొందుతున్నారు. రెసిడెన్సియల్ స్కూల్స్ కు చెందిన 12 మంది విద్యార్థులు ఈ ఏడాది ఢిల్లీ యూనివర్సిటీలో, 6 గురు టాటా ఇన్ స్టిట్యూట్ ఆఫ్ సోషల్ సైన్సెస్ లో ప్రవేశం పొందారు. మొదటి సారిగా ఇంతమంది విద్యార్థులు తెలంగాణ గురుకులాల్లో చదివి ఉన్నత విద్య అభ్యసించడం ఆనందంగా ఉందని టి.ఎస్.డబ్ల్యు.ఆర్.ఎస్.ఎస్. కార్యదర్శి డాక్టర్ ఆర్.ఎస్.ప్రవీణ్ కుమార్ చెప్పారు.

తెలంగాణ గురుకులాల్లో చదివిన విద్యార్థులు పెద్ద ఎత్తున డాక్టర్లు కాబోతుండడం, ఉన్నత విద్యను అభ్యసించడం తనకెంతో గర్వంగా ఉందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ కె. చంద్రశేఖర్ రావు అన్నారు. మంచి ఫలితాలు సాధించిన విద్యార్థులను అభినందించారు. ఎంతో వ్యయం చేసి, వందలాది రెసిడెన్షియల్స్ స్థాపిస్తున్నామని, పేద విద్యార్దులు కార్పొరేట్ స్థాయి విద్యనభ్యసించి సమాజంలో ఎదగాలన్నదే తమ కోరిక అని చెప్పారు. ఈఏడు విద్యార్థులు సాధించిన విజయాలు మరిన్ని గురుకులాలు స్థాపించేందుకు ప్రేరణ ఇస్తున్నాయని సీఎం అన్నారు. విద్యార్థులకు ప్రత్యేక శిక్షణ ఇచ్చి వారి ఎదుగుదలకు కృషి చేసిన గురుకులాల సొసైటీ కార్యదర్శి శ్రీ ప్రవీణ్ కుమార్ ను సీఎం అభినందించారు.
