Just received the following important announcement regarding Trinity College London's exams, from Trinity College Hyderabad Centre:
"Following the recent launch of Ofqualβs Extraordinary Regulatory Framework, which addresses the current situation in which candidates are unable to complete live assessments, we will shortly be launching a new assessment alternative for Music, Rock and Pop and Drama. This includes all grades, from Initial to Grade 8, and performance diplomas (excluding FTCL) and will allow you to gain a fully regulated grade or diploma qualification.
All candidates wishing to enter for Music/Rock and Pop or Drama assessments will be able to submit a video recording of their work. This enables you to take the performance component of your graded exam in your own setting, e.g. at home, at school or with your music teacher. You simply perform your graded exam pieces to camera in one continuous performance and upload the performance. Candidates achieving Grades 6-8 will also be eligible to receive UCAS points in the usual way.
Trinity will use this video to calculate the final result, and provide candidates with a fully regulated qualification, without the need for any face-to-face assessment.
More information and details on the process of applications, closing dates etc., will be sent to you shortly."
