The chances are that most of the time you would end up seeing only a vast desert of mud and coral reefs! And besides swiming down the ocean is way more harder than floating in space! As the pressure rises dramatically! Imagine tons of weight being put upon you! So building a capsule that can handle such immense pressure is a great engineering challenge!

Where as space exploration is way more easier than exploring deep ocean floors.

Therefore in order to study about them, we do need to add and mix appropriate colors so that the features of these pictures can be distinguishable to us.
