AsharArambh Performing Aksharaabhyaasam Puja today at campus.
Aksharaaabhyasam or Akshara abhyaasam or Vidyaarambham is a traditional religious function in which the child is given the initiation of education so that the child is ready to receive a formal education. This ritual involves Goddess Saraswati puja.
Let's chant Saraswati Vandana together on this auspicious occasion:

सरस्वती सरसिजकेसरप्रभा तपस्विनी सितकमलासनप्रिया । घनस्तनी कमलविलोललोचना मनस्विनी भवतु वरप्रसादिनी ॥ ४॥
सरस्वति नमस्तुभ्यं वरदे कामरूपिणि । विद्यारम्भं करिष्यामि सिद्धिर्भवतु मे सदा ॥ ५॥

And Who is Seated on Pure White Lotus, 1.3: Who is Always Adored by Lord Brahma, Lord Acyuta (Lord Vishnu), Lord Shankara and Other Devas, 1.4: O Goddess Saraswati, Please Protect me and Remove my Ignorance completely. 2.1: (Salutations to Devi Saraswati) Who has Four Hands (two on each side);
