Bhagwati Bai Montessori School 42 years………. Bhagwati Bai Montessori School, the co-education foundation school for the `beginners’ was established by Agarwal Siksha Samiti in the year 1975 to cater to the growing demand for English medium schools. The then Hon. Secretary Shri B.Kishanlalji made a significant financial contribution for construction of the school building in memory of his mother Late Smt.Bhagwati Bai. The school imparts education to children between the age of 2½ years to 5 years. The school began with 80 students and today the present strength is 345. The strength of the institution can be gauged from the fact that the number of students seeking admission into the institution has been steadily increasing over the years. To render personalised attention and meet the needs of the learner, an optimum student-teacher ratio is maintained. The preschool programs are aesthetically designed and are `age appropriate’ for the tiny tots. The endeavor is to foster the overall development of the child by helping and guiding them in their physical, intellectual, emotional and social growth. Our curriculum incorporates the concept of “learning by doing”. It is believed that `self activity’ by the child leads to better and permanent learning. Our teaching programs are based on Dr.Maria Montessori’s philosophy which says that “An adult can assist in shaping the environment but, it is the child that perfects its own being”. At Bhagwatibai Montessori School, we believe that each child is unique. Our dedicated team of teachers prepare tailor made, structured learning environment in our organized facilities helping the child to learn better. We strongly believe that “If a child can’t learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn.”

Our Montessori wing is continuously expanding by adding new dimensions to effectively deliver holistic education. The Montessori wing was renovated in 2012 with a sole aim to provide the best infrastructure, a stimulating environment and an enjoyable learning process. All the classrooms were refurnished and the spacious playground was also beautified. New apparatus to learn and play were also installed. The school has also installed centralized sound system, fire protection system and CCTV monitoring facilities. The school is also registered as a life member of “Early Childhood Association” (ECA). The school has established a close relationship with the Nizamia Women’s Educational Centre and Princess Esin College of Teacher Training. We also feel elated and proud when we notice that we have students who are the third generation of a family having their educational roots in BBMS. Their trust and confidence motivates us to rededicate ourselves to create better and learned human beings out of our students.
