Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification regarding the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier-I Examination. The candidates have already been informed that the Tier I of the Combined Graduate Level Examination 2016- examination is scheduled to be held from 27th August, 2016 to 11th September, 2016. However the City, Date & Shift of the Examination will be released on 12th Aug' 2016.
Admission Certificates for candidates whose Tier-I exam is scheduled to be held from 27th August, 2016 to 4th September, 2016 will be available on the website for downloading w.e.f. 16.8.2016.
Admission Certificates for candidates whose Tier-I exam is scheduled to be held from 6th September, 2016 to 11th September, 2016 will be available on the website for downloading w.e.f. 27.8.2016.

SSC CGL 2016 Exam Pattern has been changed. Below is its summary.

Highlights:

1) Prelims will be held in Online mode

2) There will be no sectional cut-off in Prelims

3) Prelims will Consist of 100 Questions of 2 marks each (25 Questions each of 4 sections)

4) It will be of 200 Marks and 75 Minutes

5) Prelims start from 27 August 2016

6) Tier 2 Online mode, Pattern No Change

7) Tier 3 Descriptive Paper in English/Hindi (writing of Essay/Precis/Letter /Application Writing etc. of 100 Marks

8) Merit Will be Made on Score of Tier 1 + Tier 2 + Tier 3. However, the candidate will need to Qualify all the Tiers i.e. Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III separately.

9) Tier 4 will be Data Entry Skill Test (DEST) / Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) as usual (Qualifying)

10) Document Verification will also be conducted. (As Usual)

1.TIER-1 --online--75 min paper of 200 marks containing 100 questions.
2.TIER -2 is also online
TIER 1 date is 27 august 2016....!!!
