🖋️ **From Classrooms to Newsrooms — A Proud Milestone!** 📰✨
At World One School, we believe learning goes beyond textbooks—and our young achievers continue to prove it.
We are delighted to celebrate the achievement of our Grade 9 students, **Krishna Lasya** and **Tanish Karthik Achanta**, who successfully completed the prestigious **Times NIE Summer Journalism Programme** in collaboration with **Annapurna College of Film and Media**.
Over four immersive days, they stepped into the fast-paced world of journalism and media—exploring the art of news writing, interviewing, storytelling, newsroom functioning, media ethics and visual communication. The programme offered them a rare opportunity to experience how stories are shaped and how media influences the world around us.
Their certification is not just a recognition of participation, but a testament to their curiosity, confidence, and willingness to explore new-age career pathways.
We are proud to see our students embracing opportunities that sharpen their voice, strengthen their perspective and prepare them to become thoughtful communicators of tomorrow.
Here’s to raising young minds who don’t just consume stories—but learn to create them. 🌍📖🎤

Our young Cambridge learners ( grade 3) explored how amazing our bones are!
Through a simple and fun measuring activity, children observed how bones help us move, bend, and stay strong.
They measured different parts of their body like arms and legs by using tape which help the learners to understand that the length of the bones will be different from person to person even if they are of same age
Learning by doing makes science exciting and meaningful!
Curious minds, active learning, and lots of smiles!

Our CAM 7 students at World One School explored the concept of contour lines through an engaging clay thread activity. Using colourful clay, students creatively built layers to represent different elevations of a landform. They then drew corresponding contour lines to understand how heights and slopes are represented on a topographical map.
This interactive activity helped students clearly visualize how contour lines connect points of equal elevation and how closely spaced lines indicate steep slopes while wider gaps show gentle slopes. By shaping the landforms with clay, students experienced geography in a fun, practical, and memorable way.
The activity encouraged collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking, making map-reading skills easier to understand and apply.
