"I had a fantastic teacher who stayed with us from grades 1 to 6, and looking back now, I realise she knew me better than my own family. I loved going to school every single day—and I even used to ask for school on Saturdays.
We wrote our own plays, built our own projects, and were encouraged to think, create, and explore. The rhythm and discipline I experienced at Prerana shaped me in ways I only understood much later. I was able to perform well in my higher education because of those early years.
Today, I am a doctor in Hyderabad, and I can clearly see how much those classes influenced me—especially Human Physiology and Anatomy in class VII. That subject lit a spark in me.
Years later, I walked back through those same school doors. My Biology teacher, Parimala ma’am, saw me and was pleasantly surprised. Two pearls fell from her eyes. In that moment, I understood everything.
The learning was real. The care was real. And it carried me much farther than I ever thought to measure."

In kindergarten, learning begins with doing.
Children paint, sing, listen to stories, walk in nature, shape things with their hands, and sometimes help bake something simple together.
Through these everyday activities, they learn more than skills.
They learn patience while painting, rhythm through music, care while working with their hands, and curiosity about the world around them.
These small experiences quietly build confidence, imagination, and a sense of belonging.

What if a report card told you who your child truly is, not just what they scored?
At Prerna Waldorf School, a child is not ranked against a number until the upper grades. In place of marks and letters, every teacher writes a full narrative evaluation, a comprehensive, considered account of each child's academic progress, social development, artistic expression, and the particular challenges they are working through.
Every term, these interim reports are shared with parents during scheduled parent-teacher conferences. At the close of the year, a complete picture of the child's entire journey is provided as a record of growth.

The head receives. The heart responds. In time, the hands will follow. In a Waldorf classroom, the blackboard isn't justa surface for notes. It's where lessons come alive- colour before text, image before definition, feeling before fact.
Our teachers draw with intention. A landscape holding a story. A form the eye traces before the mind fully understands. This is how art lives inside academics at Prerana. Not as a separate subject squeezed into a timetable, but as the very language through which understanding first arrives.

Our students are writing their board examinations. It is a threshold — the moment a young thinker steps from guided understanding into their own clarity. Year by year, our students are trained to observe, compare, analyse, and synthesise — not for the paper in front of them, but for the thinking it asks of them. By the time they sit in that hall, they are ready.
They walked in curious.
They walk out capable.

A look back at Sports Day.
A day of finding out what you're made of. In the fast feet and big smiles. The shaky legs at the finish line. The laughter after a fall. The quiet pat on the back. These moments stay.

In Waldorf education, warmth is the foundation of learning. It allows empathy to grow — between teacher and child, between child and subject, between thought and action.
At Prerana Waldorf School, we cultivate this atmosphere consciously. Because learning does not thrive under pressure. It flourishes where there is trust.
Education here is not only about information.
It is about illumination.
