Vignan Schools conducted a highly insightful Mathematics Capacity Building Workshop by the Central Board of Secondary Education for teachers handling Grades VI to X. The workshop aimed to strengthen teaching practices and introduce innovative strategies to make mathematics more engaging, meaningful, and student-centered.

The session focused on experiential learning, effective lesson planning, and modern teaching methodologies such as Activity-Based Learning, Discovery Method, and Problem-Solving Approach. Teachers explored Bloom's Taxonomy, Theory of Multiple Intelligences, and the use of ICT tools like GeoGebra to enhance conceptual understanding and develop higher-order thinking skills.

The workshop also addressed ways to reduce mathematics anxiety and build student confidence through hands-on activities, games, role plays, and real-life applications. Overall, the session empowered Vignan teachers with practical strategies and fresh perspectives to make mathematics a joyful and enriching learning experience for every student.

Fun-filled hand-eye coordination activities were thoughtfully conducted for Pre-Primary Tiny Tots at Vignan, aiming to strengthen fine motor skills, concentration, and overall coordination in young learners.

Through the interactive task “Roll the Dice and Mark the Dots,” children rolled a dice, counted the number of dots, and marked the corresponding number on a worksheet. This engaging activity helped them connect numbers with quantities while enhancing counting skills, number recognition, focus, and hand-eye coordination.

In the activity “Fill the Shapes with the Appropriate Patterns,” children were given various shapes and guided to fill them using suitable patterns. This activity fostered creativity while improving fine motor skills and precision.
