Today the King of Sweden, together with the Minister for Upper Secondary School and Adult Education and Training, Aida Hadzialic, visited Halmstad University to learn more about the teacher education, research, Project Nightingale and Akademikerspåret. The visit led to several interesting discussions about the future of education.

The King (to the right) and the Minister were greeted at the University's main entrance by Mrs Karin Starrin, Chairman of the University Governing Board (to the left in the picture), and Mrs Pernilla Nilsson, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (not in the picture).

Plenty of curious visitors are at Utexpo to see all the inventive student projects.

The students of the week were found at Hack4Health’s networking event yesterday. Their names are Johanna Tagesson and Kajsa Paniagua Iacobi and they study at the programme for Health Education.
What can you bring to your team at Hack4Health?
Kajsa: – I think I can bring innovative health ideas.
Johanna: – I am a quick thinker and an awesome problem solver. I can see the big picture and help the team in the right direction.
What will be the most fun at Hack4Health?
Kajsa: – To meet people and to brainstorm. To put the brain in snow cannon mode and pitch one idea after another. I think it’s a good way to produce ideas that can contribute to a better world.
Johanna: – To produce innovative ideas, that can better the world and then it’s not that important to win but to let the ideas out.
