Music therapists use drumming exercises including clapping and tapping their bodies. We have a heartbeat, so we have a drum inside us; we are wired to be musical people. I have had lots of infants who have sat up for the first time at the drums, because they are motivated to play. Just listening to music activates many regions of the brain simultaneously. From the beginning one starts accompanying the simple rhythms of your choice songs. Laya is the soul of music, without Laya there is no music. We start with making the student enjoy the process of learning with minimum effort. We will make you the TABLA as your best hobby, which you would not miss even for a day.

My learning process was unique as I had the privilege of learning under the guidance of Padma Vibhushan Pt. Nikhil Ghose and direct disciples of Ustad Sheik Dawood. Then, my humble musical journey of sharing knowledge and experience, gained through the long years’ experience of learning the art and skill with a VISHARAD degree in hand and experience of sharing it with young and old alike for more than 2 decades. In the process, I happen to discover some of the secrets of the easiest way learning TABLA and enjoy and make it an irresistible passion and a hobby.
I will start sharing you with you the treasures gathered over many generations of Ustads and Pandits who dedicated their lives to this most popular music art form.
To start with those who want be in the process are required to have the following basics for online study:
1. A good Wi-Fi (Internet) connection, camera, and a stand.
2. Smart phone with Music apps like Spotify, YT Music, Apple Music etc., and camera with stand
3. Good set of head phones or blue tooth speakers,
4. Mutually convenient time of 30 mts a week.
5. Small list of your favorite songs and music in any language.
6. TABLA (either new one or even second hand) Initially, you can improvise with any 2 sets of drums .
