Sanjay Jain is a Professor Emeritus and Director of Outreach at Avantika University, Ujjain. With a combined professional and academic experience of 36 years, he opted for academics in 2006 as the Founding Director of academics at MIT Institute of Design, Pune. Sanjay has mentored over 1000 design students, many of whom have become brilliant design professionals, thought leaders, and designpreneurs. He has received numerous prestigious design awards, including the Gandhian Young Technology Innovation Award in 2015 as a faculty mentor for a student team that designed a smart device for deaf dancers.
