Professor James Manor, a well known Political Scientist from the School of Advanced Study, University of London, is one of the scholars specialised on India. Incidentally, he happened to be a student of the Late Professor M.N. Srinivas and was also a serious researcher on caste and Indian politics.

I am delighted to invite you for a discussion on his ideas on caste based on his work that he would be presenting tomorrow (04-12-12) at 11.00 am in the Anthropology Seminar Hall.

All the faculty of Anthropology and Sociology and Research Scholars of both the Departments are invited to this interactive session with Professor James Manor.
