Dreams are the touchstones of our characters." - Henry David Thoreau
Dreams have fascinated philosophers for thousands of years, but only recently have dreams been subjected to empirical research and concentrated scientific study.
Chances are that you’ve often found yourself puzzling over the mysterious content of a dream, or perhaps you’ve wondered why you dream at all.
First, let’s start by answering a basic question – What is a dream? A dream can include any of the images, thoughts and emotions that are experienced during sleep.
Dreams can be extraordinarily vivid or very vague; filled with joyful emotions or frightening imagery; focused and understandable or unclear and confusing.

Has your comfort zone become your prison? Imagine setting yourself free.
Has your comfort zone become your prison? Taking time to reflect on your life right now can give you the answer. Knowing yourself is the first step in bursting out of your prison.
I know there are many schools of thought on this. One is to take baby steps, just put your toe over the zone and see how it feels. If it doesn't feel good then go back to yourself imposed prison!
I say, jump over the zone; take a giant leap, a leap so big that it's impossible to go back. It's not supposed to feel good; staying in the 'feel good' place has imprisoned you.
The doors to that particular prison are closed to you forever!
Use the steps below to begin your journey of self-discovery, turn yourself loose and burst out of your prison.
1. Ask and acknowledge your unique purpose
- Ask yourself what do you truly desire to be / do / have? What do you feel compelled to do? Acknowledge yourself for your uniqueness. This will give you the courage to leap from your comfort zone.
2. Have the courage to be totally honest -
What assumptions have you made about yourself and others? Self-acceptance and facing issues honestly give you the opportunity to uncover the truth and live life with integrity. Living in integrity will not allow you to short-change yourself by staying with the status quo.
3. Find a Buddy -
Ask someone you trust to support you in your journey of self-discovery and tell them how they can help.
When people understand how your personal growth benefits them and the world (because you are showing up authentically and on purpose), you will be supported in bursting out of your comfort zone to create the life of your dreams!
4. Embrace change -
Dare to dream, take big steps forward. You don't need to know everything before you proceed; and yes, there's no such thing as a mistake when you're bursting out of prison. Whatever appears is there for your greater good; a learning opportunity.
5. Celebrate – Choose something daily to celebrate. Rejoice in all that you are attracting and creating.
Imagine yourself bursting out of your prison, arms akimbo, jumping up and down, eyes wide open and a BIG grin on your face! You did it, you took the leap. Now look around and see yourself into your new future; the future created by you, just for you. Doesn't that feel good!
Commit Today to do whatever it takes to turn yourself loose - throw away beliefs, attitudes and expectations that get in the way of your ability to create your best life NOW!

Falling in love is a magical experience that happens between two people. So why do people fall in love?
Q: What motivates people seek out love?
A: Our primary motivation as human beings is to expand the self and to increase our abilities and our effectiveness. One of the ways we accomplish this is through our relationships with other people. We have learned in our research that it is important to feel that you have the ability to be an effective person, especially in our relationships.
Q: How does this theory of self-expansion explain the process of falling in love?
A: Usually, we fall in love with a person that we find attractive and appropriate for us, but also someone who demonstrates that they are attracted to us. This creates a situation where a great opportunity is open to us for self-expansion. The fact that they are attracted to us offers a significant opportunity — when we perceive this, we feel a surge of exhilaration!
Q: When do we fall in love?
A: Contrary to what most people think, the statistics show that most people fall in love with someone that they have known for a while. People only report falling in love quickly about 1/3 to 40 percent of the time. Of course, this varies from culture to culture. Falling in love happens differently between cultures but it does occur in most cultures.
Q: How does our appearance factor into the equation of falling in love?
A: This is interesting; we have found that if you are very unattractive, it can hurt you a lot in forming romantic relationships. However, being attractive doesn't help that much.
Q: How do you explain that?
A: We have found that two important characteristics, kindness and intelligence, are extremely important in the process of falling in love. And attractiveness is not connected to these things. These two attributes are things that people learn about someone from knowing them over time. Intelligence is important in all aspects of life, especially in love. But kindness is the strongest indicator for a successful long-term relationship.

Are you ready to take your life to the next level? Do you want to reach new heights in areas of your life that seem to be, well, lacking?
Here’s the good news. You have everything you need to be successful. It’s already in you. All you have to do is know how to harness and use it. Once you do, you’ll be unstoppable!
Ready? Good. Here’s five tips to help you unleash the power of your inner self:
1. Take responsibility for yourself and your actions.
If you want to do great things, then you need to take full responsibility for everything you do, and don’t do, that gets you there. No more blaming others for putting hurdles in your way. No more creating excuses for why you’ve not met your goals before. If you truly want to succeed, you have to realize that you are 100% responsible for your success, and your failure.
2. Challenge your negative inner thoughts.
When you start to feel like you can’t achieve what you’ve set out to do, you have to challenge those thoughts. For instance, if you want to lose weight but keep telling yourself that you can’t, you need to ask yourself whether that’s true. Can you, in fact, lose weight? Yes, because you’ve done it before?
Then you know that your thoughts are just thoughts and you don’t have to listen to them because they’re not correct. Let them go. Replace your cant’s with cans and wont’s with wills. You’ll start to feel your inner strength immediately!
3. Set and enforce boundaries.
Being successful means that you have to protect and value your time. If you don’t, then don’t expect anyone else to. When someone asks you to do something that you really don’t want to do, ask yourself if it will get you closer to your goals.
If not, then say no. Don’t feel guilty about it either. You aren’t responsible for making someone else’s goals, dreams or ideas a reality. Just as they aren’t responsible for yours. Besides, don’t you respect someone a little bit more when they aren’t a pushover?
4. Meditate.
To achieve high levels of success, you have to know yourself inside and out. You have to be prepared to take on life when it throws things at you and tries to derail you from your path.
Meditating allows both of these to happen. In the lightest state of meditation, you’re more capable of learning and have an effortless creativity. A deeper state of meditation heightens your problem-solving skills and increases your inspiration and motivation.
The deepest state that you can achieve helps your body rejuvenate and strengthens your immune system. Achieve all of these levels and you’re on your way to success in any endeavor!
5.Find a mentor.
If you want to succeed in something, find someone who has achieved before you and learn from them. Find out what worked and what didn’t. Study their processes and patterns. Why reinvent the wheel and try everything on your own?
If you don’t know someone personally who has achieved what you desire to achieve, find someone famous. Watch television programs that feature them. If they’ve published any books, read them and take in the valuable information.
Research them on the internet. One word of caution with this one; make sure the information is from a reputable source before you put too much credibility in it.
6.Success is within your grasp.
By taking responsibility for yourself, challenging your inner critic, being comfortable with boundaries, meditating and following the path of those that have succeeded before you, you can’t lose. Now get out there and be successful!
