A good questionnaire for student evaluation of teaching should measure the following nine dimensions of student perception. learning/
value, enthusiasm, organization, group interaction, individual rapport, breadth of
coverage, examinations/grading, assignments and workload/difficulty.
However, most colleges develop their own internal evaluation forms that hardly scratch the surface.

JBIET is happy to be part of the first set of customers to use the portal. I can see that this will become a “must have” tool for every institute of higher education.

Flexible open answer collection mechanism. Now you can collect open text answers from students for each question, for each category or one summary comments at the end of the questionnaire. Or you can do it all. How are you going to do it. Now we have made it difficult to decide for you.

"Who cares?". This was the response from a student who was blindly filling up a feedback form when asked about his cavalier attitude to the process.
The process needs an overhaul and active management involvement when you hear that. Show to the student that their feedback matters. It is as simple as that.
From an technology standpoint, a small check to ensure a student does not fill more than one rating in 2 seconds deters such random rating by students. It is such small checks and balances that i-reflect.in creates a difference.

Some faculty at colleges that we work with were uncomfortable with the idea of students' that hardly attended their classes skewing up the feedback analysis. We find from this research that their doubts are not unfounded.
