To name few elite teachers of those times that served the school with honesty, sincerity, passion, and obsession were: Akber, Naeem, Farooq, Khursheed, Anees, Qumar and they were lead by the most dynamic head mistress Mrs. Hosh Yar Khan, who was a retired British Commander lead the school’s sports and extra circular activities. The New Progressive School was in line with All Saints and Grammar School that were considered to be the best of the schools in those days. Presently, the old boys and girls from New Progressive School are well settled in USA, Europe and Canada. Head mistress Mrs. Azher Jahan, who showed the school its golden years retired in 1993 and passed away in 1998. The New Progressive School from 1953 to till date is remembered by the educationist as an institution that provided the highest quality of education and gave the world some renounced pupil.
