New Batch – First Photography Class 📸
Today we learned a simple but powerful idea — photography means painting with light ✨
It’s not just about clicking pictures. It’s about understanding light, seeing your subject, and capturing the moment in a creative way.
From empty space to meaningful images, everything starts with light.
This is just the beginning of an exciting journey into photography 🔥
Many people think using a gimbal means cinematic video.
That’s not true.
Cinematography is not about equipment… it’s about emotion and storytelling.
👉 Using less gimbal can create more natural and engaging shots
👉 Handheld movements help connect the audience with the character
👉 Camera movement should support the story, not distract from it
Use a gimbal only in specific situations, not for every shot.
💡 To create cinematic visuals:
Use close-up shots to show strong emotions
Try tilt up and tilt down movements
Experiment with different camera angles and motion
🎥 True cinematography is about how you tell a story through visuals.
Blurry photos? You’re probably making these mistakes.
Fix these 5 things before blaming your camera 👇
1️⃣ Shutter Speed
Too low = motion blur. Simple physics, not bad luck.
2️⃣ Autofocus
Works great… until low light shows up and ruins your confidence.
3️⃣ Lens Handling
Shaky hands = shaky results. Your lens isn’t magic.
4️⃣ Lighting
No light = no detail. Cameras aren’t night vision devices.
5️⃣ Overconfidence
The silent killer. Ignore basics and your photos will show it instantly.
Strong basics = sharp photos = better results.
Stop guessing. Start fixing. 📸🔥
RVR School of Photography – Colour Grading Class
Learn how to edit clips and create smooth video flow using DaVinci Resolve.
Understand cinematic color grading techniques for different moods.
Cool tones and darker shades create a sad mood.
Warm tones bring a happy and vibrant feel.
Explore highlights, midtones, and shadows to control your visuals.
Saturation ranges from 0 to 100 — setting it to 0 turns your video black and white.
A practical session for students learning video editing and color grading.
🎥 What is Dynamic Range? | Photography Basics
Dynamic Range means capturing the full range of light in an image or video — from the brightest parts to the darkest parts — with clear details.
👉 High Dynamic Range (HDR):
Both the sky and subject are well-balanced with proper details
👉 Low Dynamic Range:
Sky gets blown out or the subject appears too dark
📸 For better photos:
✔️ Avoid overexposure
✔️ Maintain proper exposure
✔️ Use HDR mode for balanced results
Remember:
Professional photographers don’t just capture light… they control it.

Normal video vs Log video… most people use one, pros use the other.
Normal video:
• Easy to shoot
• Looks good straight out of camera
• But highlights get blown, shadows lose detail
Log video:
• Looks flat and dull while shooting
• Captures maximum detail
• High dynamic range = full control in editing
Here’s the truth:
Content creators choose convenience.
Cinematographers choose control.
If you want your videos to look “okay” → shoot normal.
If you want them to look cinematic → learn log.
And no, this isn’t plug-and-play. It takes skill.

🎬 Gimbal vs Handheld Shots — The Difference That Changes Everything
A gimbal gives you smooth, controlled motion that clearly tells the story.
Handheld shots, on the other hand, bring tension, realism, and raw emotion.
Same scene. Two shooting styles. Completely different impact.
👉 Gimbal = Clean, stable, cinematic clarity
👉 Handheld = Shaky, intense, emotional storytelling
If you want your audience to feel something, your camera movement matters more than you think.
