Ambedkar Jayanti is an annual festival observed on 14 April to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, popularly known as Babasaheb. Born in 1891, he was a prolific scholar, jurist, and social reformer who rose from a marginalised background to become the principal architect of the Indian Constitution. This day, also referred to as Equality Day, celebrates his lifelong crusade against social discrimination and the caste system. People across India and the world pay tribute to his legacy through community gatherings, seminars, and floral offerings at statues, particularly at significant sites like Chaitanya Bhoomi in Mumbai and Deekshabhoomi in Nagpur. The occasion serves as a powerful reminder of his vision for a society based on the principles of liberty, equality, and fraternity, inspiring millions to pursue education and social justice.
Richmonds High School pays tribute to the great legend of our nation 🙏

Sree Rama Navami is considered one of the five most important Hindu Festivals as it marks the birth anniversary of Hindu God, Lord Rama, the son of King Dasharatha and Queen Kausalya in Ayodhya. Lord Rama is considered as the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu. On this auspicious day, the devotees of Lord Rama and Lord Vishnu celebrate the day by doing the Rama Katha recital as well as reciting the verses from the Holy Hindu Scriptures like Shrimad Bhagavatam and Ramayana.

Our little ones from Nursery, Jr. KG, and Sr. KG joyfully celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr on 20th March 2026. Dressed in beautiful festive attire, our young boys and girls looked truly angelic and added charm to the celebration.
The children were introduced to the essence of the festival through simple and meaningful activities. They shared a delightful mini feast of dates, dry fruits, and fresh fruits, experiencing the spirit of togetherness and gratitude that Eid signifies.
Such celebrations play a vital role in nurturing values of love, sharing, and respect for all religions and cultures from an early age, helping our children grow into compassionate and inclusive individuals.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated pre-primary mother teachers — Ms. Aamani, Ms. Shalini, and Ms. Mukunda — for their thoughtful efforts in making this celebration meaningful and memorable for the children.
