Indian classical music is an art form that traces its roots back to the Vedic chanting traditions, which eventually evolved into the present day raga system. It is a largely impromptu and expressive form of art – the artist is free to explore the abundance of possibilities that lie within the purview of each raga, and can innovate and express oneself through them to the heart’s content! , as a learning space, aims to help musically inclined hearts to create a strong foundation of the basic concepts of Hindustani classical music (vocal), and thereby help them to gradually explore deeper into ragas and discover ways to express themselves through this form of art! Pubali Siddharth has been a student of Hindustani classical music for over 30 years. She has learnt her basics from Sh. Sanjeev Pendse (Baroda, Gujarat) and has graduated to advanced learning from Smt. Swati Phadke (Founder at Naad Brahma Shastriya Sangeet Vidyalaya, Hyderabad) who continues to train her under the Kirana Gharana tradition.
