A Telugu Workshop was conducted by Sri Samudrala Venu Vardhan Garu, M.A., Telugu Pandit and CBSE Resource Person, focusing on promoting interest in the Telugu language among students. The session highlighted effective strategies to develop reading, writing, and speaking skills through engaging classroom activities. Emphasis was placed on group discussions, story analysis, and interactive conversations to encourage participation and critical thinking. The speaker stressed the importance of creating a friendly and democratic classroom environment where students can express themselves confidently. The role of poetry in enhancing language proficiency, moral values, and aesthetic appreciation was also discussed. Character analysis in literary lessons was presented as a means to cultivate qualities such as honesty, responsibility, kindness, and perseverance. The session concluded with the message, “Udyamena Hi Sidhyanti Karyani Na Manorathaih,” emphasizing that success comes through sincere effort and dedication.

A Mathematics Workshop on Product-Based and Concept Learning was conducted by Mr. M V S S prasad for school teachers with the aim of transforming mathematics classrooms into engaging, experiential, and learner-centered environments. The workshop emphasized moving beyond rote procedures and fostering deep conceptual understanding through hands-on activities and meaningful learning experiences.

On 9th June 2026, the staff of Delhi School of Excellence attended an enriching session on “Strengthening Assessments and Evaluation Practices.” It was conducted by Burlington English in collaboration with Ms. Ratnalekha Shetty,the resource person who provided a clear understanding of the difference between assessment and evaluation. She elaborated on the various kinds of assessments, their purposes, applications, and expected learning outcomes.

The session was highly interactive and engaging. She also highlighted the importance of effective assessment practices in enhancing student learning and academic growth.

Teaching social sciences aims to cultivate active citizens and critical thinkers. The most effective instructional strategies transform classrooms from spaces of passive memorization into dynamic, participatory learning environments. Approaches such as inquiry-based learning, interactive simulations, and community-connected projects enable students to engage deeply with historical and social concepts while connecting them meaningfully to their everyday lives.

A Mathematics Workshop for School Teachers on Effective Teaching of Math concepts was conducted by Mr. R. Hariharan with the objective of enhancing teachers' pedagogical skills and promoting innovative teaching practices in mathematics. Teaching Methodology and Effective Teaching Practices in EVS

Delhi School of Excellence, in collaboration with Viva Education, organized an enriching workshop on 6th June ,2026 for their teachers on "Teaching Methodology and Effective Teaching Practices in EVS." The session was conducted by the esteemed resource person Ms. Sarada Damaraju, who shared innovative ideas and practical strategies to make Environmental Studies engaging, interactive, and learner-centered.
The workshop showcased a wide range of creative classroom activities that can transform EVS learning into a joyful and meaningful experience. Teachers actively participated in activities such as quizzes, educational games, poster making, clay modelling, word chain games, monument talks, tie-and-dye activities, family tree projects, and many more. Caring for Yourself While Caring for Others
An insightful and engaging session on Mental Health and Well-being was conducted for teachers, focusing on the importance of nurturing their own well-being while supporting the emotional needs of students.
The session highlighted the significance of teacher well-being, the distinction between mental health and well-being, practical self-care strategies through the S.E.L.F.Model, and understanding students' mental health concerns using the A-B-C-D-E framework. Teachers were also sensitized to their role in observing, supporting, and referring students in need of professional assistance.
The session was facilitated by Counsellor Sneha Poojitha and Special Educator Urvashi Tripathi, who emphasized that healthy teachers create positive classrooms and thriving students.

In accordance to the guidelines issued by CBSE promoting Skill Education for students of Grades VI to VIII, a Project Making Workshop for teachers handling Skill Education was organised on 5th June 2026 at Delhi School of Excellence by Britannica , facilitated by Sushma Srinivasan. The session introduced innovative project ideas and practical teaching strategies, providing participants with an interactive, insightful, and enriching learning experience

An insightful workshop on ‘Innovation and Experimentation for Hindi Educators’was organized by New Saraswati Publication on 6th June, 2026.
The session was conducted by Dr. Vinod Prasoon, Head of the Department at Delhi Public School Greater Noida. He is also associated with NCERT, CIET, CBSE, COE, and Bharat Sahodaya Complex Institution.
Dr. Prasoon introduced innovative approaches to teaching grammar through play-way techniques, poetic expression, and experiential learning, enabling educators to make classroom learning more meaningful and enjoyable. The workshop Focussed on the themes of belonging, inspiration, and innovation in education, and laid emphasis on the philosophy of “Learn and Teach".
Effective strategies for strengthening communication skills, along with creative, learner-centric pedagogical practices incorporating a multidisciplinary approach, were shared to enable teachers to make learning more interactive, inclusive, and impactful.
The interactive session brought together teachers from the three branches of DSE, offering them valuable insights, practical classroom strategies, and opportunities to exchange best practices. The Macmillan Play Kit Curriculum and learning materials were introduced through demonstrations, interactive games, and hands-on activities, providing practical insights into their classroom application.
