On 9th June 2026, the staff of Delhi School of Excellence attended an enriching session on “Strengthening Assessments and Evaluation Practices.” It was conducted by Burlington English in collaboration with Ms. Ratnalekha Shetty,the resource person who provided a clear understanding of the difference between assessment and evaluation. She elaborated on the various kinds of assessments, their purposes, applications, and expected learning outcomes.

Caring for Yourself While Caring for Others
An insightful and engaging session on Mental Health and Well-being was conducted for teachers, focusing on the importance of nurturing their own well-being while supporting the emotional needs of students.
The session highlighted the significance of teacher well-being, the distinction between mental health and well-being, practical self-care strategies through the S.E.L.F.Model, and understanding students' mental health concerns using the A-B-C-D-E framework. Teachers were also sensitized to their role in observing, supporting, and referring students in need of professional assistance.
The session was facilitated by Counsellor Sneha Poojitha and Special Educator Urvashi Tripathi, who emphasized that healthy teachers create positive classrooms and thriving students.

An insightful workshop on ‘Innovation and Experimentation for Hindi Educators’was organized by New Saraswati Publication on 6th June, 2026.
The session was conducted by Dr. Vinod Prasoon, Head of the Department at Delhi Public School Greater Noida. He is also associated with NCERT, CIET, CBSE, COE, and Bharat Sahodaya Complex Institution.
Dr. Prasoon introduced innovative approaches to teaching grammar through play-way techniques, poetic expression, and experiential learning, enabling educators to make classroom learning more meaningful and enjoyable. The workshop Focussed on the themes of belonging, inspiration, and innovation in education, and laid emphasis on the philosophy of “Learn and Teach".
