The first exclusive institution for students of commerce came into existence on 2nd August 1950 and was inaugurated by the renowned celebrity Sri M. Vellodi, ICS, the then Vice-Chancellor of Osmania University. Initially, the trustees of Seth Gopikishan Educational and Charitable Trust were managing the activities of the College. In 1966, Seth Ghasiram Gopikishan Badruka Educational Society was established and was registered under Public Society Registration Act. Over the years, the Society's educational activities expanded. Today, there are 8 institutions of higher learning, managed by the Society covering such diverse areas as Information Technology, Economics, Commerce, Management, Chartered Accountancy, Vocational courses, Music & Dance etc. Trade Mark: The words ‘Badruka’, ‘Seth Ghasiram Gopikishan Badruka Educational Society’ and tm have been registered as society’s trade marks.
