In today’s world there are very few personalities who think about education in a non-commercial way, one such gentleman was Mr. Bashiruddin Babukhan, Former Education and Major industry Minister, A. P., and President of the Bashir & Sarwar Babukhan Trust (earlier, the Khan Bahadur Babukhan Foundation) a Registered Charitable Trust (since 1982), has been conducting various program’s directed towards advancement of Society in general and empowerment of individuals. The Trust is primarily involved in Education, training in Vocational Courses and Individual Development. He had a vision for youth to excel, to give youth a leading edge he started Smart Academy (An initiative of Bashir & Sarwar Babukhan trust) in 1982, since then it has been conducting regular classes to teach interior design and architectural assistantship, certified courses, under the Board of Technical Education. Smart Academy is located at Babukhan’s Millennium Centre, Somajiguda where engineering students are trained to be industry ready. What we do
Smart Academy was established in the year 1982 and has an unique 31 years of experience in the different fields of education and Training. Smart Academy was founded by the visionary Late. Basheeruddin Babaukhan, former Higher Education and Industry minister for the government of Andhra Pradesh. The main aim of this organization was to empower youth and specially minority towards better standard of education, With all efforts of the farsighted vision of Late Mr. Basheeruddin Babukhan, Smart Academy was providing coaching for various entrance exams, to a full fledge institute capable of meeting the demands of the students in the new millennium. Smart Academy offered state government certificate for One-year Diploma in Interior Design and Architectural Assistantship. Smart Academy with its qualified staff has placed several students. Smart Academy is also offering Short term vocational courses for women, that provide financial security and independence through self-employment. These vary in duration from one month to a year and include Fashion Designing, Beautician's course, soft toy making, cookery, creative crafts tailoring and many more.

Smart Academy believed in nurturing student’s creative talent for a booming construction industry and retail sector. It offers a comprehensive curriculum and expert faculty, backed by renowned Architects of the state. At Smart Academy, we train fresh unemployed Engineers from computer science, IT and Electronics background in the following Technology and platforms- JAVA, Dot Net, Mobile Application Development and Hardware - Networking courses which give them skills, required for building a successful career. The beneficiaries are young professionals or, those desirous of improving their prospects in pursuit of lucrative careers. Our training empowers young people to develop their creative talents, to face the challenges of the ever demanding job market. Smart Academy also conducts courses in Soft Skills Training, proficiency in Spoken English that train youngsters for the BPO's, and call centres, providing easy and early access to employment in the fast growing industry.
