The science club of St. Francis College for Women, Spectrum, hosted its annual outreach programme, GLEE on 29th of November, 2018. The event was attended by more than 250 students from government schools.
Students from St. Joan's high school, Sarvodaya school and National high School were invited to the fest. GLEE focused on providing an opportunity to these students to learn about science in a practical, interesting and informative environment.
The fest was much appreciated and was an immense success owing to the students and the teachers who worked with zeal towards it. The schools invited expressed their enthusiasm and admitted looking forward to GLEE 2019.

SPECTRUM HOSTED 'Yuvawiz' the quiz competition in collaboration with K Circle, India's oldest quiz club.
The quiz was conducted in two rounds, the prelims and the finals. It was a general knowledge quiz covering various interesting topics.
We applaud the entire team for such a smooth program.🎆🎆

SPECTRUM Participated in the flash mob competition themed patriotism on the 15th of August 2018. They put up an enthralling performance, undeniably amazing and fun. We all congratulate them on their hard work...keep it up guys!!!💜✨ The team will again be performing on 21st August on the occasion of the inter college fest. So cheers to the cultural committee and the participants🌸!!!!

Spectrum was a part of the Swachhta Pakhwada, the cleanliness drive to promote hygiene and instill awareness among people regarding the same. Each club was allotted a part of the campus to clean.
Our reps visited Brahmanwadi area and conducted a survey regarding the waste disposal in the area.

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry took up the initiative to spread Drug Awareness for the students of St.Francis College in the form of a SKIT organised by the Science Club of the college Spectrum.
The students displayed the various struggles and consequences that the youth faces today.
