👉 “You Are Not Indian?” | The Untold Pain of Arunachal Pradesh | Sreelekha Abburi

Sreelekha Abburi shares a powerful and emotional message about the discrimination faced by people from Arunachal Pradesh and the importance of recognizing them as an integral part of India.

In many parts of mainland India, people from the Northeast are sometimes unfairly stereotyped or even called “Chinese” because of their appearance. What may seem like a casual joke can cause deep hurt and make fellow Indians feel like outsiders in their own country.

This video looks at Arunachal Pradesh, the identity of its people, India’s border communities, and the larger geopolitical context surrounding China’s claims over Arunachal Pradesh. At a time when national unity matters more than ever, we must ensure that our own citizens are never made to feel like foreigners.

Arunachal Pradesh is India. Its people are Indians. Their identity, dignity and contribution to the nation deserve our respect.

Watch, share and spread awareness. 🇮🇳
